What I know about gardening; It's not about gardening

Here is what I know about gardening.

It’s not about the garden, it’s about the life.
It’s a relationship with something beyond your control and essential to your survival.

A network of organisms and energies working beneath the surface to shelter the roots and grow the flowers.

When I learned to garden, I learned to heal.
It was part of the therapy that changed my life.

So let me ask you, in the gentlest of ways.

Are you getting enough water?

Are you getting enough sunlight?

Do you have what you need to grow?

Are you exhausted trying to harvest something that you didn't plant?

Maybe, just maybe...

you've been a gardener all along.
